1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Fridge Chef mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access or use the App.

Fridge Chef is an AI-powered cooking assistant that:

- Generates personalized recipes based on photos of ingredients

- Imports recipes from various sources including social media platforms

- Provides interactive cooking guidance through AI chat

- Creates visual representations of recipes

- Manages cooking timers and recipe collections

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 User Information

While the App does not require traditional account creation, you must provide certain information to use the service effectively, including:

- Basic profile information (name, age, dietary preferences)

- Accurate information about food allergies and dietary restrictions

3.2 User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

- Providing accurate information, especially regarding allergies and dietary restrictions

- Maintaining the confidentiality of any payment credentials

- All activities that occur under your device's usage of the App

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Subscription Model

- The App offers premium subscription tiers

- Premium features may include unlimited recipe generation, advanced AI features, and ad-free experience

- Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

4.2 Billing

- Subscription fees are billed according to the plan you select

- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

- No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

4.3 Free Trial

- If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

- You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App for:

- Personal, non-commercial cooking and meal planning

- Generating recipes based on available ingredients

- Educational purposes related to cooking

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

- Share subscription access with others

- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App

- Use the App to generate inappropriate or harmful content

- Violate any applicable laws or regulations

- Upload inappropriate images or content

- Use automated systems or bots to access the App

- Resell or commercialize recipes generated by the App without permission

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 User Content

- You retain ownership of photos and content you upload

- By using the App, you grant us a license to process your content through our AI services

- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload

6.2 App Content

- All App content, including AI-generated recipes and images, is protected by intellectual property laws

- The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us

- AI-generated recipes are provided for personal use only

6.3 Third-Party Content

- Recipes imported from external sources remain subject to their original terms

- We are not responsible for third-party content accuracy or legality

7. Health and Safety Disclaimers

7.1 Dietary Information

IMPORTANT:

- Recipe suggestions are AI-generated and may not be suitable for all dietary needs

- Always verify ingredients match your dietary restrictions and allergies

- We are not responsible for allergic reactions or dietary issues

- Consult healthcare providers for specific dietary advice

7.2 Food Safety

- Follow proper food safety guidelines when cooking

- Verify cooking temperatures and times for food safety

- The App's suggestions do not replace proper food safety knowledge

7.3 Nutritional Information

- Nutritional information is estimated and may not be accurate

- Do not rely solely on the App for medical or nutritional decisions

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

The App uses third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini) to provide functionality. Your use is subject to these services' acceptable use policies.

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (RevenueCat, Superwall). We do not store payment card information.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

- AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App subscription in the past twelve months.

12. Termination

19. Google Play Store Additional Terms

If you download the App from Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:

- These Terms supplement Google Play's Terms of Service

- Google is not responsible for the App or its content

- You must comply with Google Play's terms

By using Fridge Chef, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
